Recap of the goals set on July 2nd, 2017

• At least two $100+ Alamy downloads per month

Update: Since early July, I’ve had 8 downloads at Alamy. None of them have been over $100, but accumulated, they’ve been a nice sum. More importantly, I’m working hard to caption and keyword my 3000+ images on Alamy.

Today, I’ve had 3 downloads at Alamy which is a new record for a one day on there on the two following images:

• My first book cover license via Arcangel Images

Update: None, which is disappointing since I’m now at 500 images with them. Just need to keep going, I guess. I keep telling myself that it’s only a matter of time.

• My first download at Robert Harding, an image-exclusive travel agency I regularly submit 

Update: My first download at Robert Harding. Still early days and I’m not sure what my commission will be. Anyway, here’s the image:

How did I find this image? I did a Google Reverse search and found it in an editorial here.

• My first sale at Fine Art America

Update: None. Lots of (non-bot) zooms and 250 images on there so I guess it’s only a matter of time.

• Win a Major Photography competition

Update: None since I’m pending my entry in the Travel Photographer of the Year Competition, which by the way, the deadline is September 25th, so act quickly if you want to submit your entries.

Need to keep going

Two months is a short time but I’m happy with the results and will keep monitoring my progress.
